I wanted to let people know about a unique tech entrepreneur conference in Denver, CO in March. It is the 21st annual EntConnect conference and it focuses on topics of interest to technology entrepreneurs. It grew out of a magazine published in the 1990′s called Midnight Engineering. The magazine is no longer being published, but the conference still attracts dozens of devotees of the magazine’s mission, namely to connect independent tech entrepreneurs with each other so that they can share what they know and help each other.

The cost is $299 for 4 days of activities, although the first two days are optional and dedicated to pay-as-you-go events like a day of skiing on Thursday, as well as trap shooting and go-cart racing on Friday. The Saturday sessions go from early morning until very late at night, but you don’t have to participate in all the events. For example, I have a hard time staying up past midnight after a day packed with activities, but a few of the conference goers have been known to stay up well beyond that and seem no worse for the wear the next day.
